About the Department:

sCHOOL OF HUMANITIES AND sOCIAL SCIENCEs

Political Science and psychology are the main areas of study at Geeta University’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The department provides regular track and honors undergraduate and graduate programs in these fields. In addition to encouraging teachers and students to participate in conferences, workshops, and other activities, the department is dedicated to outcome-based education. 

The school goals are to encourage students to achieve in both their extracurricular and academic pursuits, to extend their creative horizons, and to become dynamic members of their academic communities. Teaching aids provide a strong emphasis on enhancing students’ communication abilities and getting them involved in a variety of activities to help them develop moral character. The department also wants to encourage responsible citizenship, social responsibility, and academia.

Highly skilled professors in the school are probably post-doctoral or doctorate holders with UGC NET/SET credentials. School faculty members have had research articles published in prestigious national and international publications that are indexed in Scopus. Additionally, the department has detailed plans for hosting workshops and seminars at national and international level.
